Simple Announcements lets administrators display messages directly within Jira projects or Service Desk portals. With its built-in rich-text editor, you can create formatted announcements, schedule start and end times, and control visibility for specific users, groups, or portals.

The Advanced options allow for restricting announcement creation to administrators, showing messages through a dashboard widget, and supporting both internal Jira users and external Service Desk customers. This makes Simple Announcements an effective tool for sharing updates, maintenance notices, and alerts within your Jira environment.
