Activating or Deactivating Announcements

Announcement States

Announcements can either be active, scheduled, or inactive.

Active announcements are the ones currently being shown to users.
Scheduled announcements are not currently shown to users, but are scheduled to be shown to users at a future date.
Inactive announcements typically have an expired scheduling date, and are not shown to users.
Disabled announcements are reminders that are not currently running.

Use the scheduling Start date and End date fields to modify the state of your announcements.

To move a scheduled announcement to be active, simply change or remove the schedule.

To make an inactive announcement active again, either remove the schedule, or change it to fall into the current date.

Deactivate an announcement from the actions menu. The status of deactivated announcements becomes disabled.

Activate an announcement from the actions menu. The status of reactivated announcements becomes active.
