Simple Announcements gives you the ability to display announcements in your Jira Cloud instance. These banners can be shown on Jira Dashboards, Issue screens, and in Service Desk.

If you're asking yourself why you would want to use this app, the answer is simple:

It provides more advanced functionality than the build-in Jira Cloud Announcement Banner.

Announcements in our app allow for more rich content, scheduling of announcements, more visuals, read receipts, and advanced permissions.

The built-in Jira announcement banner is much simpler.
